2026 AAG RSSG Student Honors Paper Competition

Seven finalists will present their works in two sessions and compete for the awards. Come and celebrate the next generation of remote sensing leaders. Inspired by their work? Consider submitting your own research to next year’s competition!

AAG Remote Sensing Specialty Group Student Illustrated Paper Competition

Four finalists will present their posters and compete for the awards. Come and discuss with these brilliant students! If you haven’t already, mark your calendar to join the competition next year!

RSSG John Jensen Distinguished Lecture Series

Dr. Phil Dennison from University of Utah will deliver a keynote speech titled “Exploring drought, wildfire, greenhouse gas emissions, and economically valuable minerals through shortwave infrared remote sensing”.

Remote Sensing Specialty Group Business Meeting

The RSSG officers will introduce the RSSG mission, major events, and financial overview, followed by the presentation of professional and student competition awards!
